☺☺Ramachandi Temple, is on a beautiful spot on the banks of the Gobari river where it flows into the Bay of Bangel. It is only 10 km away from Mahakalpara in the Kendrapara district of Odisha.
The temple of Goddess Ramachandi on the river mouth of Gobari river (branch of Mahandi river) is a splendid scenic picnic resort. It is situated 5 km before Lighthouse and very near to Ramnagar Market of Mahakalpara. Ramachandi is popularly believed the presiding deity and the most benevolent Chandi known. From the architectural point of view, the temple of Ramachandi is not important but from the religious point of view, it is one of the famous Sakthi pithas of Orissa. the place was not accessible to outside visitors. However it attracted a large number of local devotees from Mahakalpara, Pattamundai, Rajanagar, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur to offer Prasad or 'Bali' in the month of April at the time of Pana Sankarati. The pleasant sight has always fascinated young generations, students and picnickers from far and wide. However after the construction of the infrastructures and pitchu road, the place has become very easily accessible.
