ABOUT KENDRAPARA :- 

    Kendrapara district situated at central coastal plain zone of Odisha. The Bay of Bengal lies in the  eastern part of the District. Popularly known as the Tulasi Keshtra  like Shri Khestra Puri, Ekamra Kestra Bhubaneswar, Biraja Keshtra Jajpur , and Arka Keshtra Konark. 

ABOUT BALADEVJEW TEMPLE :- 

    Baladevjew Temple is situated at Icchapur Kendrapara. Baladevjew Temple is very famous temple in Odisha and Balabhadra (Balaram) is its main divinity. However Jaganatha and Subhadra are also worshiped in Ratan Sinhsana in the main temple. An Idol representing Tulasi as a goddess in a seated position is also presented after the sacred seven steps.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE TEMPLE:-  

This is Constructed over an area of 2 acres of land.

There are Four main parts are 

1 - Bada deula / Shree Mandir

2 - Majhi Mandir / Bhogo Mandapa 

3 - Jagamohan / Natya Mandir 

4 - Bata Mandir / Mukha Shala 

The main Temple is 75 feet high and 40 feet wide. The temple has a 7 steps construction and heavy buliamalia stones are used in the construction. there are Other small Temples inside the premises. All the temple have beautiful architecture and constructed in very traditional way. 

The other important parts of the temple are Garuda Stamba, Ratan Bhandara, Sana Mandira and Mukti Mandapa.

    The deities of Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannatha and Goddess Subhadra wear different costumes an decorated different way in different festivals. This tradition Known as Besha (alankara).

    The Ratha Yatra here is famous for the Braham Taladwaja Ratha known as the world Biggest Chariots ever.

HOW TO REACH :- Baladevjew Temple just 3 k.m. far from the Kendrapara Bus Stand . share auto and taxis are always available to this wonder place . It situated only 100 km far from the Capital of Odisha. You can pick a share bus to reach the divine city Tulasi Khetra, Kendrapara.
