A WALK IN RAJ BHAVAN, ODISHA

Me and My Friend  recently visited ( Raj Bhavan) The Governor House of  Odisha . The RAJ BHVAN GARDEN is open to common people for Every year during winter season and the entry is prohibited at other times of the year the garden is open to the public between 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm every day. You can visit freely each year at the same time to enjoy the huge lawns and derive pleasure in the beauty of the floral extravaganza and the deer park.

Raj Bhvan means the King's Palace in English ( ରାଜଭବନ  in Odia ).is the official residence of Governor of Odisha located in the capital city Bhubaneswar.

RAJ BHVAN GARDEN

The main attraction of the garden include lush green lawn, roserium flower bed of verity seasonal flowers, an orchid house, cactus house, two rose garden, two deer park and musical fountains etc...

The circular lawn in front of the main building has fountain with colored of lights. Decorative plants Calistropis Introtropica placed both sides of main drive way lawn, gives a magnificent look to the garden.

Adorned with a large verity of beautiful flower like petunia, salvia, marigold and the multicolored roses the garden is a thorough treat to the senses. Large and small verities of dahlias and other seasonal blooms like dianthus, zinnias, chrysanthemums and gerberas are the other major attraction at the garden.  

Apart from the flower plants, foliage plants like corton, difanbachea, coleus, cycas, drasera etc... are grown in pots.

DEER PARK 

    Established on 02 october 1973 (Gandhi Jayanti) over a small area of one acre to the northeast of the premises the deer park originally houses maximum 10 animals including a pair of spotted deer and 3 black bucks more animals are brought here from the Nandankanan zoo, Bhubaneswar. now the family of spotted deer increases more than 100 pairs.

It was my first visit to the garden and it was amazing lots of memories still bloomed in mind and i had heard several time about the garden from my colleague but when i  feel it practically it was wonderful the heart says visit again to again but you know how the king's rule. and my friend OMG what i say about his i never ever see before He become selfi mania i think and you won't believe that He clicked around more than 100 selfi on his 8 mega pixel camera i really amazed. If you are a nature lover i recommended you to at least visit once at raj bhvan garden if you got chance.

HOW TO REACH :- The raj bhvan at Bhubaneswar is the important land mark of smart capital city of Odisha. you can find any time cab, auto and city buses to this land mark.
