Destination : Deras Dam , Kantabad, Bhubaneswar, Odisha [2018]
Deras Dam is a beautiful tourist destination of Khordha District. Situated at a distance around 15Kms from Bhubaneswar Bus Stand (Baramunda). this beautiful and romantic place is an important destination of tourist. Three heavily forested surrounded on dam three sides and remaining side is all covered with water up to the horizon.
On the dam, one can find a large spread of water encircled by green hill and fresh air. Small bird spring up from green hills bordering reservoir and fly over the water flapping their wings and disappear in the distant mountain. the water reservoir looks like 'L' shape when we seen from view point of the hilltop. This place is hot spot for picnic spot and film Odia industry. The abundance of greenery and clam water and narrow path in wilderness provide an impressive scenery. In the nearby hill-ock steeped in verdure, one can have delighted experience bamboo house and log hut.

How To Reach : Reaching Deras Dam can be slightly difficult due to lack of signages. try taking a taxi or bike to this one from the city to cover the 15km approximately distance.
